Crusader’s
Magician got a flying start and led until fading from 3 out.Rasma
got to the leaders but then got outpaced from 2f out running on
again at the finish. Damascus D’azat was prominent but was never
going well enough and was outpaced in the straight. Shuwaiman
Al Bahrain got a good start and led 3f out but was quickly overtaken.
Kashmir probably needed the run and ran a good race having every
chance in the final furlong. Belle De Jour was another who should
improve for the race leading 2f out and running green.
The
winner Egypt was always going well and could be named the winner
all the way up the straight finally hitting the front a furlong
out and winning with something in hand.

Arctic
Lord got away at the same time as the others but was reluctant
to get into his stide and was never going . Kiwi Passion probably
needed the run and made a respectable debut never close to the
pace. Spring Harmony tracked the leader but could only run on
at one pace.Spring Psalm had a stiff task at the weights and ran
his usual race leading until overtaken in the straight. Special
FX took time to get going but ran on well in the final 3f without
troubling the winner.
Field
of Dreams made amends for his technical disqualification last
week by winning this well leading in the straight and kicking
clear. Her form behind Sugar Dandy reads quite well and she is
up to winning more races.

Not
much to say about the race as the order never changed throughout.Nicholettah
led under restraint until picking up the pace 3f out.Island Benedict
was the only one to go with her but the weight was just too much
and he was never closer than at the finish.

led at a good pace, took a breather 5f out and then kicke on rounding
the home turn.Island Legend was carrying too much overweight and
couldn’t cover the last move but Al Reeh Janoob always had the
leader in his sights and took it up a furlong out to score. The
first two had never proved themselves beyond 12f before and they
were both all out by the finish.

Time: 1m 43
Pride
of James and Hardtoback set off and cut each others throats, Hardtoback
was a spent force 3f out, he doesn’t stay a full mile in any event.
Pride of James wandered across to the stands rail in the straight
but had no answer to the late challengers. He seems effective
at a variety of trips but doesn’t normally front run and that
contributed to his defeat today. It’s unlikely that we have yet
seen the best of him and he will win more races this season.
Arctic
Fire and Shasta Bree Tarkaan need more cut in the ground and didn’t
have the speed to challenge. Rushing ran his usual gallant race
but is vulnerable at this distance.he will be winning again when
stepped up in trip. Sugar Dandy has improved leaps and bounds
this season and was 4lbs ou tof the handicap here. That didn’t
stop him running a personal best against a very good field and
he was given a canny ride.held up off the fast pace and coming
through on the inside saving ground and winning everywhere but
the line. Tamagotchi was sweating and gave an extraordinary display.
He lost a full 8 lengths at the start then gradually made up the
ground and came all the way round the outside to follow Pride
of James up the stands side rail. Finding little room there he
was switched across the width of the track to win on the far side.
He will be very hard to beat this season and is making up into
one of the top Anglos in the country. He has only been tried up
to a mile so far and has enough speed for a sprinter but may well
stay at least 10f.

Ibn Procyon was reined back after he got a flying start and he
was never racing with enthusiasm after that . Perhaps he is better
when allowed to bowl along in front. Drongo couldn’t go the pace
and was never a factor. Thia followed the leader but was burnt
off 2f out and faded. Nefous Rais set a fast pace and kicked clear
off the home turn but Olivphaya was cantering in behind and was
always going to win being value for at least double the winning
distance. She has done little wrong on her first three starts
and is still improving.

Rivers was outpaced but ran on and may need further.
Sakit
Sura is not runninmg with any zest this season and gave no encouragement
here. Doraman again finished 3rd and never threatened.
Island Rover followed the winner but was 5 lengths behind entering
the straight and could only make up 4 of them.
The
winner ran his best race first time out last season too and may
be best fresh. He was always going well in the lead and was clear
entering the straight and keeping on well when challenged.
