Two days ago, I was contacted by a former member, who asked me to contact another forum member, to inform about what had happened to the horses taken by the RSPCA from the Peels.
The member ended up posting about the issue, besides contacting the AL member that had been intended to be contacted. Doubts have been raised about the veracity of the post made about the fate of the horses taken by the RSPCA. We have no way to ascertain whether the post describes accurately what happened or not. However, the mere doubt about such accuracy serves not the purpose of the post - providing relevant information to the owners who had horses taken from the Peels by the RSPCA. If the post ends up, through its authenticity being questioned, causing even more pain to the affected owners, then letting it remain accessible makes no sense to us.
As such, we decided to remove the post. The author will be available to answer any queries through the PM system, if any members wish to use it for that purpose. The decision to remove the post does not reflect any opinion about its authenticity. It just means that the post no longer serves the purpose of helping owners obtain information about the fate of their horses.

Having been one of those who responded to the removed post, I have learned a lesson:
In future, before commenting on a controversial topic, I will look up previous posts from the member concerned. Nuff said. |

We have all learnt something; I too took it at face value. We have so many conflicting stories it is impossible to know who is telling the truth, who is just mistaken and who is lying and I know an awful lot more than has ever been on here from post in our closed group.
It is a tragic mess; my hope is that it will all come out in the end and justice will be seen to be done. |

| Barbara please believe one day we will get the truth. We've been given so much information some wrong some right some downright lies, and most of it we have to piece together. It will happen one day we will have one thread and we follow it and we will find the truth waiting for us........hang on to that thought, it was never going to be a sprint more a marathon but get there we will and those horses will at last find justice done and done fairly |
