| Thank you, Goldenmane. It is hurtful when people are critical of those who lost horses at the Peels as we still can't get all the details out in the public domain. We thought when the trial was over it could all come out. Then we had to wait for the appeal and we now wait to try and get justice. |

Thank you Goldenmane. After all the horses suffered and the efforts we are making to get to the truth the last thing those of us involved want is criticism. We still don't even know which horses were shot and where some others went or even if they are dead or alive. We also still don't know which horses were returned to the Peels; it would not have hurt them to let the previous owners/breeders know for their peace of mind.
There is a lot to still be found out. We don't even know the number of horses involved but it is far more than you think. |

| It just shows what type of people Rachelle and Evie Peel are when they cannot do the decent thing and let the previous owners know the truth. In my mind they have something to really hide if they cannot just let owners know, just post a list on here of the horses who are alive and the ones who died and do the decent thing for once. |

My heart goes out to the people that are left in limbo. Not knowing what happened to your horses must be unbearable.
For goodness sake peels, give these people some peace. It is the least you can do, after the suffering you caused these poor horses.
I only hope those you have are being looked after.
I would happily act as mediator if you did not wish to speak to previous owners. All they want is to know if their horses are alive or dead! |

Thank you all for your continued support, all of us involved are deeply grateful, we are so fearful that this will be lost and forgotten by many, but we will fight for what we believe in and will not rest until we clear this sorry sorry mess up one way or another.
Thank you to Rui also for your support in this, and for the use of the forum.
Rest assured this will be sorted and we will let you all know the outcome.
We were all sucked in by these people, when we sold our precious horses to them, they were VERY believable, with the excuses they used time and time again, (same excuses used on many of us!) for being able to visit the farm to see where our horses were going.
We did do our research and if you had done the same at the time you also would have seen horses and ponies out competing that looked well and fit, none of us could have foreseen this coming, hindsight and crystal balls are wonderful things. We are all devastated that we could have done this to horses we bred and cared for until they where sold to these people

Come on Rachelle please do the decent thing and tell us what happened to the horses
I have a list of 71 horses, I know a lot of them you breed yourself, and some have been accounted for but please what about the rest??
I need to know why the rspca shot Pip when he was young healthy and in your Daughters name

Lots of people get Court judgements against them (sometimes, twice in a row in the same case and found guilty of misleading a Judge)- sadly it doesn't stop them from carrying on as if nothing had happened. You can even get support from the UK AHS, foreign AHS and ECAHO but these people just carry on. Some people just think they can brazen it out but hopefully the law and justice will win in the end.

I like your point about it being possible to print names now it's a matter of truth and record and in the public domain!! |

I suspect it was after my court case with her. I will write it up for you all when I get time. Sadly Tara (Sunlea Darreana) has disappeared off the face of the earth, I have to accept that she died horribly at the Peels, but her daughter who should have gone there as well I managed to get to Sweden where she has a lovely home with fantastic people who love her to bits and still send me photos of her with her foals.
There was also a court case with someone else, I am not at liberty to divulge the details, as they had to go to court to get the horses back that they had loaned to rhem due to il health.
This is an extract from an email I received from someone who I warned about what the Peels were like on 22/01/2007; yes, it has been going on for that long and I am sure there are a lot more horses and even foals that have just been left to rot.
"Dear Barbara,
I was so shocked by your email, which I've just read having been abed
for a couple of days..
Let us hope that somehow you can get Tara back, as, like me, I suspect
you will otherwise never have a moments peace of mind.
Eventually I wrote a long letter to Rachelle re: my girls & said I'd had a change of heart & was keeping them.. but then, like you, they had kept me hanging around for over 3 months! I still haven't received the other half of the money for the book they were buying from me, but at least I still have the item in question!
My sincere heartfelt thoughts go out to you & your predicament, I really appreciate your letting me know what has happened, and wish I could be of more help under the circumstances. Things have certainly deteriorated in the Arab horse world when fellow owners, breeders, supporters (?) cannot be trusted & so much duplicity is rife - as I've found through bitter experience. Its vindicated my decision about my horses not going so far away I can't monitor them.
If there is anything I can do, please let me know.

This is this last time I ask politely for you to give us some answers
1. What happened ? why did you not ask for help? we would not have turned our backs on our horses no matter how we felt about you or what had gone on in the past, and you as a breeder would have know that
2. Why
(a) where the RSPCA allowed to shoot healthy horses
(b) shoot at least one horse (Pip) that was registered in Evie's name
I respectfully ask you to answer these questions at least, if not on this forum then by private message via AL or email or phone call, I WILL NOT judge and It will remain with me but please I ask that you tell the truth
