How to obtain the sleek polished look of the Arabs face , do you use something to keep hair from becoming to hairy , I get they are oiled up ,but how to get that almost skin like look .

They are clipped/shaved so there is no hair! |

Roger's coat is so fine that his face is sleek/bald around the eyes in the summer anyway - no clipping needed but the odd beard hair plucked!

Einstein also looks clipped his facial hair is so fine, not even a hint of beard! |

I also see it on older horses. My current loan is 16 years and she is almost bare around her eyes and muzzle, as was a previous one who was 24. Eba, my girl, definitely has hair where they are bare!

My Crabbet boy used to have the bald, leathery look around the eyes in summer, but his coat was very fine.
I now have two Polish boys and they are very hairy, one has a beard any gypsy cob would be proud of! Never had such hairy arabs before! |
