Further on from the poo picking post with my foster girl! My Arab is an absolute dream with her, very kind, lets her kiss and stroke him and follows her around the field. (I'm not jealous, honest!) Obviously I keep a close check and she knows on windy days he is excitable, tail in air floating around the field. As for my Dartmoor, I would like to say he is a sweetheart but the only time I trust him is when he has a mouthful of hay! We have nicknamed them Mr Licker and Mr Nipper!

What a lovely relationship. I would guess even when excitable he would respect her space. My boy can hoon down the field to me and I know he will stop and walk the last few yards. Wouldn't even be in the field with some neds having a gad about.

We have some coloured cobs on our yard and I won't even go in their field as they are so rude. My boys are known as 'The Daft Lads' as anyone can do anything with them!
My friend worked abroad for the local RDA group and they only had Arabs as they said they were the kindest to the disabled children. |

His mum would be proud! I remember stopping to chat with some neighbours and their small granddaughter one day. Without any warning (or asking!) the small person was suddenly lifted up and plonked in front of me! Needless to say, Friendly didn't bat an eyelid! I, however, nearly fell off in shock! |

Oh blimey I wouldn't trust Millie she thinks its funny to play chicken!! Our new cob girlie is as gentle as anything..my mum is a bit worried about the horses loose in the field since my sisters horse knocked her over... even she was impressed with our gentle Niamh! Perdy, Millies mum used to scare the crap out of the soldiers at the military saddle club I kept her at and yet a 6 year old could lead her in from the same fields they struggled with! |
Everyone in my life brings me happiness, some by arriving others by leaving. |
