I usually wear Musto Snugs but they are a bit warm in summer. Have been looking at riding tights but I don't know much about them. Can anyone recommend some? I get rub marks with conventional breeches. Thanks

I have equetec stretch cord for summer but agree the riding tights sound cool. If you search on here I think they have been discussed before. I may just go for it and treat myself. |

Thanks Ari, have been looking and quite fancy the goldfinch ones for everyday. Not too expensive as we have alot of rides with brambles on and I have quite a few small holes in my current jods! |

Just received my new pair of Goldfinch breeches and they are lovely and very reasonable. |

Goldfinch are great for everyday wear, but when it's really hot I like my Kerritts (bought them from the States via ebay). I have just ordered some Irideon Synergy riding tights (available from Performance Equestrian), they have pockets!! I haven't tried them yet, but my sister really rates hers. They are more expensive than the Goldfinch ones, so I will keep them for competing. |

Just looked at some...do they come plain rather than contrasting coloured panels? Do they stay up, I've got some nice little pull on kids jods but I'm always having to pull them up!!! |

My sister's ones are black, and don't have contrasting coloured panels, but the panels are made from different fabrics, which might look like different colours in the photos. They definitely stay up. I have some Harry Hall winter jeggings which are great but I do have to pull them up a bit while walking around, so I know what you mean. The goldfinch ones are quite high waisted - don't slip down, but I find it better to roll the top down - depends where you waist is I suppose . But all the various makes that I have had of riding tights over the years have stayed up well, and I find them so much more comfortable to ride in than conventional jodphurs. |

I love my Goldfinch ones, but did look at the Kerrits so might try those too. Mine are plain black and just so comfy. Agree with the high waist though but at least you don't get a cold back. Put my normal jods on today and they are soooo uncomfortable in comparison. |
