Sally that would be my dream your pond is lovely; we do have a huge pond almost a lake where I keep Ari so I get to enjoy wild ducks, heron and oyster catchers. My life changing late Christmas present to myself is a pup who will be ready to join my animal family 10 Jan. Dolly will be my first pup in 13yrs so I am both exited and terrified as so much has changed in training and feeding but hoping common sense will see me through lol. She is a Cockapoo and I know all the designer dog negatives, but she is chosen because her spaniel mum has a fabulous temperament, belongs to a girl I know, dad is health checked and I just love poodle crosses like my wonderful Dexter.

I am very envious Ari. I love Poodley type doggies they are so cute. I would love a dog but OH won't let me have one. I can have as many cats and even another arabian but no dog. I love it when everyone relates their doggy stories and pics on AL. I can't complain too much though, OH pays all the horse bills and never complains about it or the time I spend at the stables. |

How lovely a puppy to look forward to of course we will expect loads of photos. Sad day today for me as i had to have my favourite sheep Mammy Nice PTS, i knew it was coming as shes old but still not nice, my sheep are pets here till the day they die . Poor vets i asked for female only to come out as my old ladies are just used to me looking after them and had to put up with me blubbering away, they know me well so they are fantastic and what was nice is she said any animals that comes to live here is very lucky. I am not going to replace my old sheep as they leave us as its too upsetting when we have to say goodbye, only 5 ladies left now but all fit and well. |

What a wonderful life your Mammy Nice had, what a considerate vet and I'm sure they come with a box of tissues for you because they know you so well. |

Yes a sad day and you did right to ask for the vet you wanted as it makes all the difference at sad or crisis times and good practices are happy to oblige. Wishing good health to your sheep ladies bless em. For Christmas... I wish all Aliners a wonderful time
