Hi
I am looking for recommendations on a good hotel/B and B/pub with rooms in York for new year.
I have left it a little late to book and am now desperately searching websites etc. Must have roaring open fires, nothing too 'upper class' I'm a common country girl 
York is the ideal as myself and OH can explore the city I can shop, ghost tours etc and then in the evening drink real ale by an open fire..Any ideas recommendations great-fully received.
P.s if this is against the rules (advertising etc) please PM me.
PPS..PLEASE HELP! I've forced the OH to book leave, found a place for the cat but have nowhere to go!
