Just had an email to say that the Arab Marathon has been cancelled reason lack of entries.
Even the Pleasure Ride will not go ahead.
Don't let this ride fold. It is great and fun. The committee and Volunteers have worked hard all year to make this ride possible.

Oh no! I couldn't make it due to work, but my Mum and sister were planning to go and support Katie Bedwin and Dragon What a terrible shame. |

I am an endurance rider,but have never done the Marathon (only crewed there) and like Callisto,was unable to enter this year,due to work. I hope to make it a priority next......Really sorry to see that it is cancelled.

| As a former member of the Marathon Committee, I'm sorry to hear this. I know how much hard work goes into this event, and it's very disheartening not to have the entries come forward after all your efforts. |

Three months training for nothing.....'disappointed' doesn't cover it.
The committee worked very hard but as Pauline said this is too good an event to lose so lets all go for it next yar!! |

| Its sad to hear it isn't going ahead. I was hoping to do it a few years ago, but it was cancelled. I must say though, as my mare is very small, I'm not sure I would be happy with her carrying the weight. I have also rarely seen it advertised, not even the pleasure ride, and I am local. It seems to be a well kept secret!! |
