Hello everybody,
I am new to this forum (hence the title) and thought I would share my girls. I think a few people I know are on here so sorry to bore you if you know these two already!
I have two part bred arabs, bred by Xiviers Palominos. Both are 64.85% and although from the same stud, are not related.
Xiviers Shimira is a 6 year old, 15.1hh mare. She is used for all riding club activities but has unfortunately had an accident in the last few days that has set us back for the foreseeable future.
Xiviers Manuka is a yearling (15 months now, but old photo) who is currently a much loved pet on very long legs!
Looking forward to talking with you all,
Em

Welcome.
So sorry to hear that Shimira has fractured a leg. I assume that it will heal eventually as often a fracture is very bad news (if you know what I mean). Healing vibes going her way, she is lovely as is the "baby".

Thank you to all of you,
Barbara she is coping superbly so far. She has had the fracture screwed together and the septic joint has been treated. Her surgery was on Friday and she is bright and recovering better than we could ever have imagined.
This is the same mare who disembowelled herself as a rising 2 year old, had an operation for a bone infection in her stifle, blew a tendon, and has was diagnosed with advanced bone spavin in Xmas last year. It's never ending for this poor girl!
