Last Sunday seems a long time ago - I am now stuck back out on the ocean waves, so just to remind myself what I am doing it for - here's Lily looking perky at the end of our very muddy 40km GER at Cirencester last week

Inspirational to see lovely Arabs demonstrating what tough athletes they are (even at 24 wow). You ladies are incredibly fit too.

Cinny, my little pocket rocket 14hh arab mare, not only finished the 2 day 130km CER, she won it! I was so shocked when we were presented with a lovely arab head trophy |

Very well done Cinny and Susi!
We were supposed to do our first 65km at Cirencester, but our crew broke her leg so I downgraded to the 40km, but regretted it afterwards, despite the mud. So we are now planning to do it at Ashdown Forest instead - rather rutty terrain, but only 20 mins up the road from us, so at least we save on the traveling. |

Yes Linda that is Dainty. Heading out of the venue at the start of the Vet ER.
She felt good all the way round and was happy through the mud too.
At 24 years old I think she is special and as long as she is happy to go out and she feels well then she will continue to race with a couple of CR' s in between.
She will be heading for the Arab Marathon again this year. |
