Hi, I am hoping to do the 32k Nov GER at Kings Forest on March 30th and wondered whether anyone was going too/ might want to ride together? etc....

Hi, I'm entered for the 40km, but will almost certainly down grade to the 32km Novice, since I'm not home til Thursday and Lily is definitely not fully fit. I'll be looking to get round rather than set any supersonic speeds. |

Wow -would be great to ride together if ok with you? We did FOD as our first 30k ride ever and finished at just over 12kph but would be happy to go slower so she enjoys herself :-) |

Well I am more than happy to ride with you - if it isn't working then we can separate on course . We did this distance 2 days in a row last summer, the second day at just over 11.5 kph, but it was in the mid 30's temperature wise. It's a nice flat course, so we should be fine, but it's Lily's first outing of the season, and she hasn't had nearly as much work as I would have liked. We will be arriving the night before and camping. Mu sister is entered for the 40km Open on her new Chestnut, so it would be great to have someone to ride with |

Sounds fab -Summer has had some time off after Forest of Dean as she was footsore behind and I have just been away for a week assisting on a Ttouch course. So back to ridden work for both of us tomorrow but not mega fit -Summer will be glad it's flat -the FOD hills were a bit of a surprise to her! I will prob have to travel down early on the Sun morning due to commitments the day before. Are you on fb? I'm Natalie Tindall and have a Moonlight Arabians page too :-) Would definitely be great to have you to ride with :-) |

I have sent you a friend request, but hard for me to get on facebook until Wednesday/Thursday when I get back from offshore - not a very good internet connection here in the middle of the North Sea....Speak you then. |

Unfortunately Moonlight couldn't make it, but despite it being Lily's first outing this year, and after only a week of training, she was on a mission having seen my sister and her new gelding depart 15 minutes ahead of her, so we went rather faster than the quiet ride I had planned, and finished on a speed of 13.06kmph and a hr of 50 - so pleased with her

Lovely pic -you both look as if you are really enjoying it, so sorry not to make it though Summer is sound now -just a big hole in foot to heal up :-(. Really well done to both of you - we'll need to work on our speed to keep up next time!! |

Thanks :) Cinny did above our target speed, so was happy. Also fab as her first 80k back after she fell at 3 Rivers last June and put a hole in her ligament in her front left :( It has been so worth all the work to bring her back to fitness :) |
