My two horses seem to have quite loose droppings at the moment, the only thing I think it must be is the grass coming through so rich, they are still on the bit that they have had all summer but the last week I have really noticed a change, anyone else having this? And is there anything I can give them that will help like a probiotic or something.

Maybe just because its so mild the grass is having a wee spurt. I feed both of mine Pink Powder all the time and they are never loose even when they first go out on grass in the spring. We have to use turnout paddocks in the winter so loads of horses scour in spring but neither of my boys do.

Worth a try x

Yeast sacc is really effective. Good deals on ebay. My mare is barefoot so grass, wormers, boosters all tend to effect gut and feet.I have found that yeast sacc calms the imbalances. I like the taste of it too.....same effect as Activia.Did I really put that??

I noticed on Saturday morning that Raf was doing quite loose green 'grass poos' and then rode OH's horse (Raf is off work atm) and was surprised to find the normally laid back boy extremely jumpy and a bit silly. It wasn't until I was in bed that night that I made the connection. Doh!

Will have to try the yeast sacc thanks, come to think of it Arabi has been very spooky this week so it must be the grass, I have a rested field I was going to put them on but I am going to leave it until it gets colder and they seem to have plenty on what they are on anyway.
