Hi, I have 2 ads on here, one for a Wanted horse ...now found (I have emailed admin to remove and its bouncing back ?) and another a 131.hh pony For loan.
I have recieved many , 8 to takr, clearly scam email responces to these ads and am very concerned as to who is gaining access to the forum/adverts/emails ? One responce if from ;
THE WTB HORSE /EQUIPMENT YOU ARE LOOKING FOR IS AT MY DISPOSAL AND I
AM LOOKING FORWARD TO DISPOSE THEM SO IF YOU ARE INTERESTED REPLY ME
BACK AS SOON AS POSSIBLE AS I LOOK FORWARD TO SEE YOUR REPLY SOON,

yuu.mmiyazaki@gmail.com with a vague response to nothing in particular ...." read your ad on arabianlines..are you still interested.??
Am I correct in thinking these are scams...please enlighten me...but as I am pretty sure they and the others are I want to know how they got access.! what security measures are in place ?

Personally, I don't trust 'gmail' emails... One brought down my Hotmail account last year and spammed all my contacts. All sorted now, but I won't read, let alone open any 'gmail' addressed emails now. Same thing happened to a fair number of friends, not with the exact same address, but all 'gmail' ones.
I would say spam, only from my personal experience.
I'm not dubbing everyone with a gmail account the same, it's just me being super cautious xx |

| RUI....No, I was under the impression that the forum has "members"...and passwords to gain access?and that the classifieds were available to people who are members........so its not public...or is it ? I don't think anyone on here is sending scam emails ? if it is the case that the classifieds are available to anyone that would explain it. However , I would still be interested to know what security we do have on here. |

| You don't have to be a member to read the ads - my sister found her gelding through AL and she is not a member. |

Just had one from Muu myzaki??? or something asking was mare still for sale too.
Did reply but was just as vague .
Who ever it is will be going to see an awful lot of horses! |
