I have 2 horses coughing on my yard. I have had the vet and he says they are fine with no problems. It started when the weather got dry and dusty.

What do people use to help.

If you look up 'equihealth' or 'urenus' they both so pill things for pollen/dust allergy relief.
I've got Splash and Freya on them, and even though our hay was cut and turned over the weekend, neither are coughing or snorting like they were last year!
It's all homeopathic, which I've never really seen much point in, but I'm eating my words now I see the difference xx

My loan pony coughed for the first time last week, she also developed lumps/bites and a rash. This is our 3rd summer together and it never happened before. I checked with the owner and whats happening is apparently her hay fever/allergy.

Anyway, she coughed once, then a couple of days later coughed twice, then next 3 times. I gave her some Kids Apple flavour Benylin (had to put a drop of molasses with it to get her to take it). She has not coughed since.

I gave her a Hibiscrub bed bath and the rash and lumps went down.
