Hi ladies and yes, she knows exactly when she's being talked about ...

This is her pedigree: http://www.allbreedpedigree.com/sophia+ali

Has that link worked?

Buy the Arabian that you feel comfortable with & enjoy it

I agree with this!

I have the Camel Type Arab! "Officially" he is Egyptian x Crabbet, but he is 16hh of snake-face, Loreal head-tossing, grumpy Camel
And I absolutely adore him from the tips of those long ears to the base of his shiny little feet!

I have S A Eternal Spirit (Crystal Magic - 97% Crabbet/100% Old English) x Nahema (38% Crabbet, the rest is Spanish Egyptian Russian & Polish). He stands 15hh & can carry 15 stones with no problem. (Have tried to load a picture of him but I'm unless!!) Gina

Definitely. Getting through the village with Spud can be quite time consuming as he has a lot of adoring public to pose in front of. One daddy of a little girl said that she always ran up the road to see Spud and called him her 'unicorn horse'.

Ahh – small world! Well Crystali is now in Prage and in foal I believe (may have had it by now) – she was recently sold on by Rikke who originally had her in Denmark … think there’s a stallion for sale on here by her too (my mares full brother) at the moment. x

I would whole-heartedly agree with those who say forget looking at strains and look at the horse in front of you. If he/she has the right build, conformation and temperament for you then their breeding won't matter.

And as for pure-bred versus part-bred, that's again for you to decide. I own both a pure and a part-bred. The PBA is pictured below. She's by a welshxarab stallion out of an anglo-arab mare and is just brilliant. 14.3, well-built and has a temperament die for!

My pure-bred is high % crabbet (89% I think) and a very different character. She is not as heavy set as some crabbets but still very typey. She's 14.2, beautifully put together and can be either very loving or a total diva!!!!
