hiya, no it SEEMS that spring is making a brave appearance..I am finally starting to think of shows. The dilema is, that although I did full-clip on my pure-bred in January and I never normally clip later than the 2nd week of Jan, due to all this horrific cold (and I did rug up REALLY well) his coat is back to long and fluffy! ahhh I am just wondering... his first show is end of April.. do I clip again ??? or just keep on grooming... it just doesnt seems to be moulting though.. what does everyone else think , thanks! xx

If it were me I would leave it as it could ruin his coat for the rest of the summer, try a shedding blade lots of coat spray and cotton summer sheets under his rugs it with help to keep the coat flatter and cleaner, I have the other problem I full clipped mine in late December and he looks like his just been clipped its just not growing back much, all due to the crazy weather no doubt. |

If hes not blowing his coat yet I think I would risk it.. too late for mine they are throwing theirs out in glorious clouds! |
Everyone in my life brings me happiness, some by arriving others by leaving. |

Hi, if he's grey, I would re clip him. They look much smarter and polished. We are going to merrist wood end of April and both the greys we are taking will be re-clipped about a week before.
Good luck and enjoy.
