I have a pally and a chestnut and they are both shedding loads of hair... they have been quite well rugged up tho. The american mini stallion and his mini shettie wife are only shedding a bit..... |

I noticed it on Kes today, after a good gallop over the South Downs I came back seeing my black tack all covered in white fur, and it wasn't the snow that was falling on us either - he's moulting!! |

According to the groundhog, there will be a Spring soon, not six more weeks of Winter, does that work for us here too?? :) |

I haven't noticed much shedding when I've groomed yet, but did notice a lot of grey hairs on my numnah when I took it off this morning. Am hoping it is the start ... Raf's (unclipped) coat actually felt a bit greasy this morning. |

Hate to sound grouchy but we did have a heatwave last year and then SNOW again, would rather wait for proper spring, and you never know if may just for once be followed by a SUMMER (now what is that again)! |

Lily has been moulting in clumps since just after Christmas - the freezing weather and snow notwithstanding. It's not due to over rugging - ahe'a mainly been in medium weight rugs and she's always toasty. |
