Last weekend we made the long journey from Devon to the Doylan Stud to pick up our new baby , Doylan Imperial Gold is 89% Arab & is a grandson of the illustrius Palomino Shulay Faberge , his Grandsire on his dams side is the fabulous Egyptian Arab Emiratus B .
His colour is a little strange at the moment but alot of Pally foals seem to have gone dark this year & it should clear in the spring !Here are some pics of Indi at 4 weeks old & some of him at just over 5 months old.

What a lovely little chap, I'm sure his colour will improve in the spring - my buckskin is a rather grubby pale greyish dun colour during the winter, but is apricot in the summer, I hope you have years of fun together

I wouldn't worry about his colour at all. Some of the deepest gold ones go muddy with their frst winter coat. Then you get the lovely surprise when their spring coat comes through.

How exiting, new baby.

Yes Debs hes still a colt & we will be showing him as a youngster & then he will be my ridden horse as by the time hes a 4 yr old Fantasy will be 24 yrs old & winding down ,not that I can see her ever slowing down !

Offira When Fiona put his newborn pic on Facebook it was love at first sight & then my friend Lisa ( posts on here as Simmba )went up to the Doylan Stud & texed me all the way home telling me I should buy this colt so the following weekend we made the long trip up to the Doylan Stud & weren`t dissapointed !
Thankyou Callisto yes im sure his colour will clear in the spring !
Hi Borleybird & thanks , oh yes he has cuddles all the time& loves it I know Quarabian Pallys do some strange things allright & i`ve seen lots of Pallys turn almost iron grey before clearing to a beautifull gold !
Thanks Zooscat ,Pasch & Kharidian

Martha 165 we were dreading the journey but I arranged that we`d all stay with a friend in Ammanford saturday night to break up the journey & he was brilliant , he loaded well & we travelled him loose in a well strawed out forward facing stall in our lorry , he soon found out that if we were travelling up hill he would face forward & when travelling downhill he`d face the back & he never stopped eating his haylage net from start to finish !

Even unloading & then loading him again wasn`t a problem , he was so good when we stayed at my friends overnight !
We left my friends place at 1025 am & got home at 15.50 , we stopped near Bristol to let the dogs out & Give him a drink !
Yes Jessiemae he is related to Roody as his GreatGransire is Eldyr who is also Roodys sire
