Bless! I agree with Pinkyboots - huge feeds of something like well soaked grass nuts / lucerne nuts and Sugarbeet that he can pick at through the day & night if he has bad teeth - especially if he's also having trouble with hay, as this will give his guts plenty to work on and is full of fibre too.
His white legs& face are remarkably like my Roger - I bet he's high percentage Crabbet!

Thank you everyone, its been a foul day and he's tucked up in bed with a huge bucket of fast fibre and grass nut slop, he is eating most of the time and snoozing on and off, I can see him from my bedroom, I think he must be high % crabbet too, will be interested to research his pedigree when his passport arrives xx |

Hi all, the boy is doing well he has more dental work today but is eating well, 2 large tubs of fast fibre a day as hay replacer and 4 feeds consisting of veteran vitality, speedibeet and healthy tummy in a crumbly consistency now, he is on tumeric as well, he is gaining weight, about 10 kilo's in the first week, I haven't taken any more pics yet as its been so dark and rainy but will get some this week, xx |
