I saw the topic regarding appaloosa crosses and posted before properly introducing myself. Sorry. I have recently bought the most wonderful arab x appaloosa horse. I am still getting to know him, but he is already deep in my heart and I love him to pieces. This is Trebinshwn Echo (hopefully)

Thank you. I have been lurking for a while - drooling over all your beautiful arabs - and then bought one for myself !! |

Welcome Denise! He's really gorgeous and congratulations on your purchase! I tend to be a bit of a lurker myself, but there's often good advice on here. |

Oh, he's gorgeous. I saw his picture on the other thread and he's even better when you can see the whole thing! He looks like an Arab in an Appy's skin lol. Do you call him Echo at home or do you have another name for him? |

Thank you for your kind comments. Yes, I call him Echo at home. He is 8yrs old and 15hh. He is an absolute gentleman to handle and a delight to ride - but does need to learn some manners in the field with others! He hasnt been gelded very long and still thinks he is a stallion at the moment. Another piccy - from a very wet showground a couple of Sundays ago.

Hello Littlearabians! Well I plucked up the courage and took him to a local Riding Club show a week last Sunday and he won both his classes and then went on to win the in-hand Championship!! I couldnt thank the judge properly as I was sobbing with delight. I cant remember (or find the pics I sent you). Denise |

Hi Denise, your boy is gorgeous.
I'm embarassed to say I failed to do the polite introductions when I began posting . I'm not too familiar with forum etiquette but am completely hooked to this one, loads of good advice from knowledgeable and helpful people. |

Thank you for the lovely welcome. I intend to show him in part bred appaloosa classes next year and then when I am more confident with him I may be brave enough to do some ridden classes. I will probably bore you all to death with showing questions as I am a total novice. |

and I think I know your boy! I own his half sister Trebinshwm Drucila here is a little pic and she is also the first pic in my sig pics!
I am sure it is him....we rescued Treebie from Breacon horse sales in 2007 your boy was there as a young colt and was/is breathtaking we wished we had been able to get the both of them and have always wondered what happened to him.I am so glad you have found each other he is stunning. What is his breeding and here is a link to Treebies http://www.allbreedpedigree.com/trebinshwm+drucila

Hi George. Gosh your filly is beautiful! I cant remember Echo's breeding and I have sent his paperwork off to get him registered in my name. I will check it when it is returned. I also picked Echo up from a sale - and understand the poor chap has been passed from pillar to post a bit in his short life. |
