Lets see some photos of Tina Cookes breeding, she's calling time and has been a wonderful breeder and a wealth of knowledge, I just love Ahmoun the grey stallion she had. Let's see some pics everyone...

I am also the very proud owner of a Stourvale baby, 8yr old grey gelding - Bey Daghmah (Ganemede x Dahmah).
Getting photos on here is beyond me though!

I bought one from Tina about 5years ago Bey Samirah (ganemede X shariah) and her breeding has become addictive I now have 4 in total. Bey Dahla , bey Dayaan and bey Dahmask , they are so easy to have about the place and we have done really well in the show ring, Tina describes them as refined Crabbet .. Ps how do you post pics |

As others have said of their horses its Malis temperament that is his best feature, so kind, honest, generous and easy to have around. I would have loved another Mali sibling in a year or two, very sad to hear that Tina is calling it a day. She is such a nice lady, and gave me the best piece of advice anyone has every given me about horses for which I am very grateful.
Hi Jill, email me the photos and I'll post for you, cant have your boys light hidden under a bushel!
Thanks Callisto for your kind words, you're not missing much on the video though, I look like a sack of tatties, pregnancy has done nothing for my riding!! |

I have 2 beautiful mares from Tina. I have Bey Sheba and Bey Sophia, what wonderful mares they are, so gentle and kind.
Bey Sheba has produced me such wonderful foals and this years is no exception. Last years won the Junior Crabbet Class at Malvern.
I am also very sad she is finishing after so many years.
I wish her much luck for the future and hope she doesnt miss her horses to much |

It is very sad to see Tina closing down but it is understandable. I fell in love with a photo of Ahmoun many moons ago and a friend took me to see him one day as a surprise. I thought he was the most beautiful stallion with a little bit of attitude. My mother, who was very ill at the time, came with me to see him one day and said he should be in alabaster. I have spent many years at Stourvale off and on and had an Ahmoun grandson, Akram Gold, (sire of Ramak Gold) and I also have Roxanna (granddaughter of Ahmoun through Nashaal. This will always be my favourite bloodline. All Tina's mares have suited Ganemede who is adorable. There has been many a time I would liked to have put some of the foals in my car and bring them home. My friend bought Abu Dhahi who was absolute fantastic as a ridden stallion but unfortunately, due an accident, died very young.
Stourvasle will be sorely missed but the legacy will live on. |

Thanks for the photos Al; and Jacjac Dahmask is indeed our full sister - from the photos I have seen of her they are very alike! Saw her up for sale a while ago and was very tempted.......... if she is anything like my DJ, she is extremely switched on, quick to learn, affectionate and frankly, just a pleasure to have around
Tina has undoubtedly brought some wonderful horses into the world

Tinas stock can go on and do almost everything, excel at endurance, ridden , inhand and they all seem to have the most wonderful natures, which I feel nowadays not many breeders can breed all these attributes consistently , her bloodline knowledge is vast and she will be sorely missed as a breeder... |

Just seen this thread and I would like to share Samarrah (Ahmoun x Spitti). The first two pictures were taken when she was 14/15 and the third was last year. She is now 24 and as of this winter now happily retired.
