Hi Guys
Just want to sound you out on this topic...
Myself and a FB Friend are in discussions at the moment about hosting a 'new' Show in 2013 for Arabians, Part-Breds and Anglos.
We are hoping to make this an annual event if our first Show is a success.
This Show will be Open to Amatuers and Professionals alike, everyone will be more than welcome
We will be aiming to promote the breed and would like the horses to be happy in their work and our DCs will endeavour to prohibit all outside interference and harsh handling of all exhibits
We feel that the Professionals could lead by example and show the less experienced competitors, how to produce our lovely breed for showring success.
As suggested previously this show is an Open Show but there will be special classes and opportunities for amateurs, so we would encourage those of us that are less experienced to enter. Hopefully if you can gain experience at this event you will be more inclined to enter and support other Shows. We definately need to see more amateurs at the Group & National events.
Although the venue is not decided, we are looking at Rodbaston College as its central to most folkes. With the great British Summer the way it is its useful having the classes indoors.
We are aiming to avoid clashing the event with all the other popular Arab Shows and must stress that this show is not being held in competition with other shows, hopefully it will just be another date on the show calendar that we can all enjoy.

Sounds like a fabulous idea...and if anyone saw our disastrous attempt to show Nabil this year you would understand why we/he needs the practise  |

Sounds like a great idea and yes indoor is a really good idea. The saddlebred and morgan show is indoor every year at Moreton Morrell and it makes such a difference and better atmosphere as well as shows seem so much lower attendance these days.
I would compete and/or help if it was Rodbaston or anywhere else in the midlands.

| Great idea -we'll be there -have missed the West Midland Arab Festival shows this year so will be fab to have a Midland based show. Keep us posted on the need for sponsorship etc... |
