If you can give me the sire and dam of your horses I should be able to help. Al the al Nakeeb horses are straight Egyptian and lovely bloodlines. I have a six year old stallion, Moataz al Nakeeb.

Same sire as Moataz! If you look on allbreedpedigree.com you will find Hilal and Shaleema. All of Hassanain's horses are beautifully bred, he has some amazing horses.

Hilal was leased to Egypt for a couple of years but should be back now. I have been meaning to go but and see them again plus his foals but just haven't got round to it yet.

What is your mare's breeding? I haven't heard of her so can't give you any info without her sire and dam.

Izzy aka basistasada is out of an american mare malouf hadiya (sp)and her sire is the now deceased Ansata nile Pasha who i believe is Asil if i have been told correctly.

Izzy is the spit of her dam short and compact with a wonderful sweet nature.

Ansata Nile Pasha came to the Maxwells and then went to the middle east. He was not very big but very typey. I am off to bed now but will look up her dam tomorrow.

http://www.allbreedpedigree.com/maloof+hadiya
On allbreeds the dams side of Izzy's pedigree is incomplete due to a typo, the link above shows Hadiya's full breeding.
Your mares name is actually BAS Istasada, the affix BAS stands I believe for Brown Arabian Stud. I went to see a filly years ago that they bred, but I can't remember if she was out of Maloof Hadiya or Maloof Habiba. I was also told that they were Asil.
Whilst I have found both Hilal al Nakeeb and MB Shaleema on allbreeds I can't see any progeny with them as sire and dam, this doesn't necessarily mean there are none, their details may just not have been entered on there.
Hopefully Barbara will come up with something as she has experience of these lines.

Hampshire.

Ap0logies for not getting back to you but I have been really busy and I have now found a job and start next Tuesday so it has been all systems go! I don't know a great deal about the dam's side but do know Hassanain's horses. Hilal al Nakeeb is not very big but very correct and a lovely temperament. He has sired several foals here and I am sure he will have sired lots of foals in Egypt while he was there. If you go to straightegyptians.com and search for Hilal al Nakeeb you will get info on him; he was the Centrfold there a couple of years ago so there is an article you can print off on him.

Here are a couple of photos of his half brother Taz (Moataz al Nakeeb).

Just reading with interest, I have Saleem Al Nakeeb. He would be a full brother to Housam. so interested to see pictures of him. I have had Saleem from a yearling, he is now 6. He's my angel I love him so much and what a personality!!! Very kind lke Shaleema, but has a naughty streak like Hilal.

Dear Izzynsam and Barbara.Gregory,
The American Registry does not show and sons of MB Shaleema. I own Nora, MB Shaleema's 2001 filly. I am interested in any sons of MB Shaleema. I can't tell for sure, but I think you are talking about at least 1 son of hers. Is this true? If so, by what stallion? Where are these horses?

Tom
