Well, I dropped my boys off at the vet's this morning so they should be geldings by now. I feel like an evil mum but its for the best. I was going to take a pic of Healy (2 year old sports horse) and Hass (5 year SE arab) in their jail cells awaiting their fate and post it but I couldn't without bubbling like a fruit loop. Troy moved in with the girls yesterday and it was bad enough separating them. And while I was loading the boys this morning, the farmer (see previous 'wonderful way to start the day' post) was peeking out of his garage, watching, and retreated when I set off - but I gave him a big wave when I went past. Fingers crossed all goes well.
hope the boys are all well and not to sore, their going to be better off without their bits and you will be better off without a farmer who opens gates and leaves them open on purpose. Get those photos posted, cant wait to see them
Boys are very good today. Everything went well. Happy munching hay and wolfing back their food. They're in there for 2 weeks so I have warned them that Hass gets bored in his stable - he likes to rear - but I'm hoping that he may be a bit too tender for the next couple of days to attempt anything. Healy was being clingy but he's only a baby. Troy is loving his new bed although he has to dip his head slightly to get in. They'll be reunited in a couple of weeks - not that Troy is missing them!
