Hi Ponycatz. I think your best bet to start with is to do an Internet search using the names of in-hand show trainers for their yards and see if they are taking horses on. No point in people quoting prices as they won't know specifics (what you require and what your horse has done already) and trainers can vary in their costs. Hope that helps a little. |

As your youngster is a partbred could you not do the basic training (as it really is just manners) at home and then do an extended holiday for both of you during the show season. I would contact BabsR on here, she will point you in the right direction regarding the partbred world. |

Hi, Yes my youngster has had all the basic training re manners etc at home, he has also been to an English style show here in France where he came second in a class with mature stallions, i also know a fair bit about PB arab showing as i was showing his mother inhand and under saddle upto county level before moving to France. It would be lovely for me to take an extended holiday in Uk for the show season , unfortunatly my work does not allow this . This is why i was asking for rough guides to the cost of a showing yard, many thanks for all your replies and lets hope i can afford to send him to Uk as he's rather wasted standing in a field Ponycatz |
