I am so sorry for your loss. In situations like that I always wish I would know what to say - it all seems so little and useless. All I can say is that we are all thinking of youm sending yuo lots of love and healing thoughts for your pain, it will get better and he had a lovely life with you and did not suffer. |

I'm so sorry to read this Meggie- treasure the time you had together, I lost my first pony William two years today to sudden colic but even though I miss him every day I can think about him and smile at all his antics and you will be able to too with time, it is a truely tragic thing to happen and my heart goes out to you xx |

Thank you so much for your lovely and kind words. Mouse was my best friend and to loose him after such a short time together is heart breaking. He was my first and i really hoped we would have a few more years together, but it wasn't to be. I have deiced to give up my yard and pack all the rugs ect away for now. To buy another on the re-bound is in my eyes unfair. I will never have another Connemara, i can safely say that. I will have to find somthing else to do with my days off. x |

So sorry you lost your Danger Mouse friend,Meggie Lu. I really enjoyed reading about him.
I think there is another lovely horse out there waiting for you to find him or her, though, and to share everything with again. Mouse would not mind, I don't think,he would know he will always be number one and a new horse will understand that he or she is not a second best.
You have too much to offer a horse to let it go to waste :) |

Thank you. Nice of you to say. My plan is to pass my driving test get a car. Then re-think things in the summer. Mouse really did give me a massive boost in confidence and riding skill i will always be proud of him for looking after me. |

Awwww Meggie-Lu. Go get yourself some wheels, wait for the weather to dry out and see how you feel. You know I lost my horse of 19 years last March, I was heartbroken like you. But 5 weeks later along came Kes. He's a different horse alright, Harley will be in my heart forever, never forgotten. But she got past, Kes is my future :) Keep ya chin up chicken xx |

Kes- Thanks i hope i will be as lucky and find somebody new. I had plans this summer with Mouse, guess he will be happily jumping those fences in horsey heaven. My mum and dad have been fantastic and my dad even offering to help me find and buy another, bless him. But i want to find the right one a soul mate. But you never no Mouse maybe plotting to put another in my way. Well he was cheeky |

So sorry for your loss Meggie-Lu. I hope you will find another friend like your Mouse...you obviously have so much to give to a horse it would be a shame not to bestowe your love on another... there are so many horses out there looking for a special somebody like you. I was very sorry to hear about your loss of Mouse. Your posts always made me smile as your enthusiasm and love of him just shone out. Its a shame for you to have had such a short time with him, but I'm sure it was a wonderful time for him being so well loved.
I didn't realise he was a similiar and fine vintage as my lookalikey boy, mine was foaled 1990.
I do hope you find another one to give all that love to again, not to replace Mouse but to follow on from him. There are so many poor horses out there right no looking for homes.
Much love from Tamara and Brychen |
