I am trying to trace the pedigree of the Hunter Stallion called Stormer, born in the 60:ies or 70:ies, he was bred and owned by The Barlow sisters who was MFH , and stood at stud at their stud. . with their TB stallion Dover Light (GSB). Stormer was sire of a stallion imported to sweden called Stormer Two, who was out of a mare by Dover Light ex a mare by Silver Shales. Stormer Two was used at stud a few years and then gelded and showjumped sucsessfull for many years in <Norway.

Hello Pelle, I've got a stud advert for Stormer with a black and white picture of him. I'll try to scan it tomorrow for you. It says he was bay, foaled 1962 and 15.3hh. It says Stormer was homebred and his dam carried huntsman. I've checked the Hunter Stud Book and Miss E. Wilson has a few mares listed in it. One of them is called The Cob (H.S.B. 13020), She was bay, foaled in 1947 and 15.3hh. No breeder or further pedigree given. She has got 4 produce listed. One of them a bay colt by Dover Light foaled 1962.
Miss E. Wilson M.F.H. stud was Horsley Gate, Holmesfield, Sheffield. |
