You may remember last year i started going to the collage salon letting the students play with my locks, well i am getting more confident and now believe that using hair spray will not make my hair fall out(must be my mothers fault brain washed me as a kid?!!)

I am currently sporting a long bob with the front being longer then the back is it asymmetrical? anyway what supermarket moose and hairspray do you guys use? I have very fine hair.

Usually end up borrowing DogDog Flea shampoo, and the mane and tail detangler.

I would. I suspect that in these high winds, any type of hairspray would fail; or you could try Unibond?

I would save your money. There are lots of alternatives to normal hair products. Strands of Haylage entangled in your hair make fantastic highlights, and, with patience, you can remove them if you want a change of look.

A 'perm' can be achieved by standing out in the morning mist for 10 mins or so; and no harmful chemicals Rain is good for the 'ringlet' look.

And if you want something for a special occasion, walk thru a bramble bush, you will have lots of lovely buds in your hair, and that tussled look which can be quite expensive at some 'brand' hairdressers.

No help either, but just remember to look for the leaping bunny logo on anything you buy, otherwise it will have been tested on animals.

I have fine but very thick hair and poker straight. I normally go for the tousled look when I go out to give it a bit of va va voom. I use Richard Ward volume boost & hold spritz in at the roots before drying. John Frieda boost mousse for the ends as it glosses then once dried and styled use loreal elnett extra strength flexible hold.

Hay-Spray I found a strand or two of haylage in my fridge once

I think its a 'big' hair thing. I wonder why the hair band suddenly doesn't seem to fit, yep, turns out to be the volume of haylage happily entwined with the hair. Must get my hair baled at some point.

Angelarab, there is plenty of nature in my hair. How I envy those who run their hand thru it and all foreign matter is gone. Schools cud run nature trips to my hair after a day with 'them'.

It not completely out of the question that there may be grass roots in there too.

I cut 4 inches off it last week, perhaps another 4?, but it just seems to curl more. I've tried plaiting it, but then the Wigwam jokes start. And I fear the little boys from the cottages will dress in Cowboy outfits and chase me.

"Hair styling" - hmmm, going to look up what that is
