My accident prone tb had her first wee half hour out today after being stuck in for 6 weeks following mud fever, cellulitis, infected cut and proud flesh. To say she was happy to be out would be an understatement! She still has a bit of proud flesh so I didnt want her out for too long and it ends up reinfected. So I covered it up so she could let off a bit of steam. She did a perfect arab impression, fire breathing dragon impression and then there was the dressage impression. I did have one moment of worry. I think the adrenaline was going to her head and she wasnt breathing properly. Her legs went a bit wobbly under her a couple of times and I thought she was going to collapse. She seemed alright after her breathing got more under control. So my little tb was a happy horsey today. Might do the same tomorrow.
Glad you have managed to get her out, my mare has had a tiny bit of mud fever which then turned into cellulitis, shes living out 24/7 so was a bit of a surprise even the vet said it was such a tiny area of mud fever, she must be a softie bless her, hope your mare continues to improve
