Just to say that it is that time of year for Laddie ie "jab" time. He is normally quite a pain and won't stand still. Well today he was a paragon of virtue.... and stood like a rock.- I have to say the vet was great. She knows him and she was kind, gentle and patient. I know they are busy people but just wanted to say "thank you" to Kate from Milburn Equine. She even made time to show me the right place to put the stethescope for checking his heart rate and also where to find a pulse.( I was beginning to wonder where his heart goes when I want to check it!)
It makes such a difference sometimes when someone takes the time to be kind and patient, one bad experience with a vet or farrier can cause such problems later on, well done to your vet
Good vets are worth their weight in gold (and sometimes charge the equivalent me thinks!) We're lucky to have 2 really nice equine vets at our practice..and Sunny's managed to charm them both I know their busy but ours always take a little time for an ear scratch before they go about their business
My vet is worth his weight in gold as well Honeyb060674, but he doesnt charge the earth,Thank you kevin(Blackdown Equine) Well worth giving him a call if you live in south devon.
