Spirit Arabians are planning to hold a showing evening. It will be on a Saturday & was thinking of holding it around February time. We need a minimum of 20 people to attend to make it worthwhile but don't want to make all the plans then not have any interest. If you would be interested in attending then please pm or email for more details.

As this is admin allowed can you not put up details of when and where it will be held as many of us don't want to travel too far in the winter as we have to get the horses in and fed etc.

Just down the road from me so I am interested. If you put all the details on here there is a lady in the village with an Arab gelding who might be interested so I will speak to her and see if there are any others locally who might be interested. How much would it be, will there be a raffle etc (I could donate a bottle of wine or some goodies for horse or human!).
I have a lovely old mare who I could bring if you want different bloodlines etc, if you pm me I can give you my contact details to speak directly.

| I would be interested but have two mares due beginning of march, so it would depend on when. Also weather lol! I do have an american trained mare to bring if I can make it, thats if you want other horses in??? |

| We're aiming to hold it in February to allow everyone to get over xmas. We have a floodlit indoor school so weather isnt a problem. It'll be ticket only as plan to include a fish & chip/chicken & chip supper so would need to know numbers beforehand. Donna thanks for your offer of your mare. Sorry Alan, i have dislocated and fractured my shoulder so have been a bit preoccupied trying to sort out someting for the horses; bit of a nightmare as i have no one at the moment to see to the stallions so they are having to stay in as i can't lead them in and out. I am leaving the mares out which is easier and thank heavens for the lovely weather!
Good news is that I should be O K for your evening.

Oh, sorry to hear of your accident Barbara. Hope you make a speedy recovery. Will keep you posted re our showing evening once we set a date but looks like it'll be early Feb as both Donna & I have early foals due next year.

Thanks so much for all your interest. Looks like the 2nd Saturday in February will be the date & plan to start at around 6.30pm. Will just need to confirm with yard owner to make sure she has nothing planned for that evening. Full details will be put on my website soon.

Sadly it would have been to far for us to attend. But I think the modern v traditional subject is very interesting and I was looking forward to reading the opinions that I'm sure would have been aired here after your event.
I do hope you manage to re schedule at some point. Although I would imagine it's a nightmare trying to arrange the best time for as many people as possible to attend. |

We have had a few enquiries so if enough people are definitely interested then we will try to get a date that suits as many of you as possible. Please let us know what dates are good.
