Thaws results could be changed ie there was a winner of the Veteran Marathon but this class was amalgamated with the main class because it ended up with only one entry for that class |

The winner of the Veteran Trophy was Ground Kontrol, he's 17.5 years old. Several veteran horses entered the main event, what a testament to the owners of these Veterans, in that they feel their horses are still worthy of running against their younger competitors. Proof is in the results with a Veteran coming 6th place |

Yes Ground Control won the Veteran Cup for the main class BUT because I had to join the main class they did not award the trophy for the Veteran Marathon
You say what an achievement well my little mare is 14 hh and 21 years old I did not push her (could have gone faster) she completed in just over 2 hrs yes in 14 th position BUT not last. Yesterday she was galloping around the field as if she had not raced the day before.
Also 2 years ago ( no Marathon last year) she won the Best Veteran Marathon,Best condition and I won the Veteran Rider. That is an achievement.
She has also completed the 160k class at the GHS 2nd in the veteran ER at Berkshire Downs and Won the Veteran ER at Three Rivers. That is the only competitions she has done this year. A 100% result
