Everybody who cheered their lungs off for him at Towerlands. He had a wonderful time and loved the attention...... To get a gold medal at his age is a tremendous achievement and he loved every minute of it. He came off the box once home like a dog with two tails. I have been inundated with well wishing messages this weekend and will say THANKYOU for the Rusleem Appreciation Society from myself and the Old Man himself. We would both also like the thank Mark Gamlin for showing him so beautifully

It was great to see the veterans out and strutting their stuff....both males and females!
I'm not sure who enjoyed it more, the crowd or the horses? I think it's fair to say everyone loved it and hopefully UKIAHS will hold these classes again next year....where ever it maybe held? |

I'll repeat my FB comment: Rusleem - you brought happy tears to my eyes!!! Lovely memories of you winning the Championship at our first UKIAHS ("Simply the BEST") and then ridden champ - (Jr champ too) a triple record I'm pretty sure will NEVER be matched! and you were there to help cut the 21st cake ... XXXX
and would like to add I took a lovely photo of him trotting out at Malvern as a yearling and I've loved him ever since! He and Stephen trotting round to "Simply the best" will be forever in my memory and last night when all had left I went to the arena and it was like yesterday ... my one Rusleem regret is that when we went to his then home Clytha Park, which was absolutley beautiful, he was ill so we never photographed him at home. |

Well done. Always a brilliant ambassador for the breed. So much charisma and such a lovely nature. He's 'been there, done that'. Would be great if his daughter here in Western Australia does well in her show debut in November, I know I'll enjoy the outing no matter what. I liked both Rusleem and Rushan and when I discovered they were full brothers you could have knocked me over with a feather. Brilliant. |

Some pics in my album of this wonderful boy! I was so proud of him strutting his stuff on Sunday. It brought tears to my eyes to see all of these legends...Rusleem - Take a Bow! |

Aaah bless him
He looks great Donna, and wonderful to see he's still doing his party trick (the rear)
Truly a horse of a lifetime for so many people, there is no other like him . Lucky you Donna having him in your life |
