Hello All.
Every story has a beginning, a middle and an end, well here is my ending.......
I am looking back over the past 20 months, and it feels like a dream, like it never actually happened.
But it did, and I wouldn't be here, telling you all about my happy ending, if it were not for the help, support and kindness of a small group of very special people.
Those people being Liz and Walter Downes, Jane Sorensen and my boyfriend Chris.
And the reason why............. Mila is home....!!!!!!
Saturday 27th August saw us loading her up and her making the journey back home to Leicestershire.
We prepared ourselves for a long day trying to load her as she has a history of being a little difficult to load, however all she had was a little sniff and up she went..!
I was excited, nervous and scared, but as soon as she was quietly munching on her hay in her new home, a huge sigh of relief left me, all I did was watch her and smile.
I am one of the lucky ones, I almost lost my precious little mare, but for as long as Chris and I live, she will be going nowhere without us.
A huge heartfelt thank you goes to those who have given me a chance, even through the hard times. I love you all.
Please let this be inspiration to all of you who find it hard at times, if it is meant to be, it will.
Kim x

At LAST your beautiful baby is home to stay!! It's been a roller coaster of a ride but the end has been worth it. Hope to see you and Mila out under saddle some time soon.
