| i ride my mare in either a 16.5" antill saracen or a 16.5" m&j saddle. the antill fits better when she is a bit porky, while the m&j is better when she has lost some weight. both saddles are 9" d-d and fairly straight cut. i have to say the antill has a lovely wide seat and does tend to be more comfortable for longer rides; the m&j is a bit hard so i pad it out with a seatsaver. i did have a 16" barnsby pony club saddle at first which fitted the best but my rump has spread(!) and i just didn't fit it anymore. |
