does location put you off. Just i have been trying to sell ros now for a while and im just getting no interest at all, i keep reducing his price but theres only so low i can really go, do you think it could just be my location or the fact hes still entire or is no horses selling at the min. i hvae advertised him on here and locally and not made any difference at all.
I would say it's a combo of all those points. With each point your market reduces, put all those points together your market will reduce accordingly. I suggest you look at each point that goes against or reduces your sale and try to change one or more if possible?
I think doing that will increase your chances better than say sending him over to the mainland entire. But whether it's enough is hard to say as from what I can gauge the market in Ireland is flooded due to indiscriminate breeding. The Market on mainland uk isn't much better and breeds like the Arab already have a limited market.
Sorry to be doom and gloom but even if you were to geld, relocate AND bring him on ridden it would still be a job going by the current sales and prices.
I looked all over the country, spent my days off and sundays on the motorway for ages!
What I would say is have some really good conformation photo's taken, action and head shots do look lovely, but at the end of the day if people have to travel a long way I think it only polite to give them decent photo's and if possible video..
I have to say that it was very frustrating the amount of sellers that 'didn't have any photo's' .... should have blooming well taken some!
It really riles me when ad's state... please no timewasters!!! RANT OVER!
Good luck with your boy, he is lovely. I wouldn't necessarily geld him, that way potential clients can do so....they have a choice
