Iam trying to find some history about my Arab horse Marley (Marlowe). I have posted on the tracing forum but Linda suggested I try the main forum too.
I got Marley from a lady called Dorothy Owens in Kielder, Northumberland in 2004. She had only had him for a short time and I do not know who the previous owner was.At that time Marley was 24 years old.
He is now 31 and stil enjoying light hacking. He is the most wonderful horse and has obviously been very well schooled. I understand he had done a bit of everything in his youth.
I would love some information regarding his history, and particularly how he was bred.
Does he have an AHS passport? Is Marlowe the full name on it or part of the name? I will do a search for you on NED online if you give as many details as you can.
The only Marlowe showing in datasource is 1988 Grey gelding, Wandal x TC Mariah bred in the US but not shown as ever having been exported. Not sure about this one as seems a bit younger.

I went through the AHS stud book, and the only one I could find born in 1980 with a name remotely similar was Kon Maly by Caspian out of Delfina (I already posted this info on Japp's previous thread) Does anyone know whether it could possibly be this horse?
