Just to warn people in the Surrey Sussex area that thieves are about, they have been in to our yard 4 times in last 2 weeks taking diesel and all my rugs and other bits and pieces on Monday they even came in the day and helped themselves to our camping stove for our cups of coffee. We are not about as much as we usually are as going up to London every day as my husband is having radiotherapy. They are cutting the sheep netting to field next to us and coming in though our fence. I am really worried for the horses safety,we have informed the police who are about in the village a bit more but not much they can do. Karen

How awful for you, particularly at a time when your husband is having treatment. I've just bought 5 new rugs for our bunch, and I shall be sticking our postcode on them tonight - something I hadn't got around to. Hope they leave you alone from now on. |

4 times in 2 weeks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I would be suicidal!! I thought we had it rough with 7 times in 7 months!!! I really feel for you, and I do hope they manage to catch the thieving scumbags!!!!
Ask the local police for covert surveillance cameras, they do supply these things for a period of time free, and it might at least give them a clue who the culprits are. We had one in our yard for 4 months, in our case though our thieves appear to have got bored or gone somewhere else for the time being.
Hope they catch them, keep your chin up. |
