Just a couple taken in the sunshine . They were so dozy I had to get one of the children to walk around with plastic bags on their feet to wake them up a bit !
K is as fat as a house, she is on an immediate diet .
K bored with all the excitement!
I wanted to leave the picture complete with my little human boy in but you can't be too careful on the internet sadly so he shall remain anonymous .

Gorgeous, gorgeous, gorgeous!!! I love that last photo, you can almost see his soul in his beautiful eye. I expect the full photo with your little boy in is to be treasured.
I will have to get updated photos of Dexter as he was born around the same time as Sazi if you recall!

They both look gorgeous. K looks like my mare. I spent all winter trying to keep her belly down. Lightweight rugs and just hay and small feed. She still looks all belly! |

Don't they make you feel happy? Gorgeous horses ( and understand being careful with childrens photos!) Never tried plastic bags on feet for a good photo! |

Thank you all!
Yes they make me unbelievably happy it has to be said .
Kate I do remember Dexter, that stunning photo of him in full flight aged about 6/9 months? Do update us on your herd !
Her tummy is rather rotund it has to be said but then she has had 3 foals and hasn't had any exercise at all since last September which will hopefully soon change. She's also very happy where they are because she can go in and out of the stables to her hearts content and will actually wear a rug again for the first time in years! Keeping madam happy is my number one quest in life !
I was really struggling after Sazi came home with wondering how on earth I was going to leave him on his own and ride her - well I tried last week to put him in the stable with the top door shut. They have talk grilles between the stables and so I held her next to him and then gradually moved her outside, then bathed her for a while where he could still see her, then moved her along a bit but kept talking to him all the time, finally put her in the garden and stayed with him talking and leaving him for a bit etc. The following day I got my friend to stay with him and I rode around the block for 15 mins and he was as quiet as a lamb bless him. I think not being able to see her going was a massive help, I'm sure he would panic if he saw her being led away.
So very happy me as I was missing riding so much and really troubled as to what to do, should have known he would be a little angel bless him.
Debs, the little child really had to pelt around to get them to run and even then they kept stopping, sticking their tongues out and going to sleep !

Ah thanks again everyone!
She celebrated her 20th birthday today and I rode her up to the cricket pitch where she stood and stuffed herself whilst I chatted with some friends. I have a truly dreadful picture of her fat and donkey like standing in her stable sfterwards which I shall load up and dare to show you ... yes well sprung is a good euphemism !!
She puts herself to bed these days bless her !
