I have been testing a shed master which is a similar of the Furminator made by Ancol(GB pet product company) lets put it this way Furminator horse RRP for the genuine article 34 quid shed master does the same job on a very thelwell Baz for 12quid .

i am lucky that i work in a shop that sells both love doing product testing Kassha don't be scared furminator does sound like something horrible have a look on google

I too love my Furminator! I find it easier to hold than a shedding blade and I use it on all our horses from Arab to our mini Shetlands. It does a brilliant job and they all appear to love being groomed with it! It certainly makes getting the old coat out very easy.
I'd be lost without my Furminator..not particularly for the Ginger Ninja who isn't TOO hairy, but adopted grey Hippoarab is a yeti!! Sunny LURVES being Furminated...he rumbles, groans, leans & almost sits down as I merrily defuzz his behind
