I have a 50 sq metre concrete stable yard that was laid with a brushed finish two years ago. I didn't know salt could damage concrete and used it on icy bits through the winter and there is some, very minor, salt damage---just a slight crumbling on the very surface in a couple of places.I don't want it to get worse and have been looking at ways of sealing the whole yard. There seem to be two ways of doing it---clear liquid that sort of sinks in and creates a waterproof layer, or polymer/ resin, that does sink in to the surface but also leaves a surface, non-slip, skin on top. Does anybody have any experience of any sort of concrete sealant?
