Our little equine (every Stud seems to have one) is Welsh `A` Mare `Blodwyn`(Coed Coch Cydfod/Glanllyn Seren Dafydd)now 25 yrs young and absolutely worth her weight in solid gold ...weanling foal Nanny extraordinaire, tiny tots ridden pony, will take a complete novice safely round a showjumping track and lead quiet as a lamb for the smallest handler.

In her house---door cut down so she could see out!!

First time over the jumps for the rider at a show (Blod 24yrs young)

There is no money that can buy these little treasures....every stable yard should have one

Here is another picture of the lovely Rupert with his best friend Dave. As you can see I went to the trouble of having his very own stable door made so he can see over the top, but he loves to climb over the top of it...........naughty boy!

Oh my god that picture of Rupert and Dave is adorable I agree with Babs every yard should have a pony like Blodwyn. We have my 8 year old daughters pony Mooney, who although at 12.2hh is not quite a mini, she is a lot smaller than she should be due to her having a cleft pallet, she is pure bred welsh section c, and we think she is an angel, here she is

All my minies have long ears. Will try to post pics tomorrow. Loving the tinies, it makes me feel quite broody. Might have to visit alacapasto who has them too and doesn't live so far away. |

I havn't got her now but my mini was Barbie She definately thought she was an arab!

I got her when she was 3 but by the time she was 7 she kept getting laminitis and needing very restricted grazing, but that would have meant spending most of her time by herself as I didnt have anything else that needed keeping like that. I thought that was very unfair for her and no life for a young pony so I gave her away - so if anyone has been to the pets corner at the Hop Farm, Paddock Wood, Kent you'll probably have seen her!

Oh Smiler that's sad. Cupcake was very, very scared of people when she arrived. She still is terrified of strangers, especially men. It took me 3 months to be able to pick out her feet but she is becoming more trusting, just a slow process. |
