Latest relief efforts in Egypt - update from the field

(10.03.11) Over the last month, the Brooke has distributed over 28,000kg of feed to nearly 2,000 animals and carried out more than 10,000 veterinary treatments in Cairo, Edfu, Aswan and Luxor.

Food distribution in Aswan scheduled for today (10.03.11) was unavoidably postponed, with the local feed seller having insufficient supplies to provide Brooke’s share of feed stock. Food distribution has been re-planned for this Saturday 12 March and another food distribution will be carried out in Cairo near the Pyramids on Sunday 13 March.
