Well done everyone! We always have a raffle for an equine charity at our client evenings, one is coming up so I think that money will be Egypt bound. I have donated to ESMA. I will certainly send money to the Princess Alia foundation, she is someone in whom I would have faith in in terms of the money being put to best use.
I don't know if I am out of line here as many people donate without making a show of it, but as someone who has been involved with equine charity work in the Middle East, I have always felt it strange to be struggling to help horses and their owners while across the border the oil rich states plough untold millions £££££££££££££££££ into racing, showing and endurance yet seem very inconspicuous when it comes to helping their Arab neighbours and their desperately struggling horses. If I am wrong in this matter please let me know and I will delete this post immediately.

Well, after five hours of hard work Sarra and i have finally managed to find a way to put a paypal link onto the PAF webpage!! It is now two in the morning over here!!

| yes the letter was here this morning, plus a message from Princess Alia , but as of yet I dont have IBAN bank details to pay in on a monthly basis/ I will donate today a one off payment with paypal , but would like to get it done standing order monthly , so can you e mail me the bank details by PM Suyen? |

sadly I think you are right Lisa , I asked a FB friend who is a high up royalty in an arab country, if he could help these poor animals, I also asked him to share the link pictures with his arab friends , I never got a reply and the link I sent him is not on his FB page |

| Suyen, according to paypal, accounts in Jordan are only able to send funds, not receive them - would you be able to link it to a non-Jordan bank account? |

AARGH..can you believe it? PAF does not have a UK bank account as such, but we will see what we can do about opening up an account there..In the meantime, please email Sarra on the email address given on the PAF website and explain the diliemma. I will be seeing her later this afternon myself, but Friday is the weekend here so all banks are shut.

We just spoke to Princess Alia, Sarra and Suyen and Monday, when the banks in Jordan open again, the problem will be solved. In case anyone is desperate to send money to PAF today, you can use our 'Monty-account' (with the blessing of Princess Alia) and we will wire it right through to PAF with online banking (no problem from here!). We will send prove of the wiring to PAF to anyone who sends us a donation, so you all will be sure it will get there. Again, this is only a temporary solution, in a few days the problem with the Jordanian account will hopefully be solved !

| Sarra called us to ask if PAF can use our Monty account for European donations for the time being. We here in Holland have no troubles wiring money to Jordan per online banking 24/7, but in other countries it seems to be difficult or even impossible, so just to make it easy for all Europeans, PAF will be using our account for donations. The bankdetails as written in my above post will be put on the PAF website later today or tomorrow. |

Blimey well maybe I had better pull the plug on my standing donations then ! I will ring this afternoon and they had better have a good explanation, or I walk , there are plenty of others that deserve the money ! |

I Have just got off the phone with the London office , who assure me the horses and Donkeys are STILL being fed and treated in Cairo and they are now looking into where the information about them not feeding stems from ! I told them I wanted the absolute truth about it , so they have gone away to find out whats going on ! cant do more than that at the moment, Josie I have the PAF firmly in my mind and thoughts right now dont worry |

I did read somewhere on face book something about them stopping feeding but that might of been a different area ? but this is the reason i have only donated to esma because ive seen what they are doing with my own eyes not oh yes we are feeding just no pics to prove no good in my eyes 
whoooops just read up to date and realised it was the palestine area sue where did you see this new info saying they are going to stop in Egypt ? |

This is so heartbreaking. I sent a donation last week to Brooke and have just tried to make a donation to the Princess Alia Foundation following the link and going to the Make Donations page. I'm not the best at filling in forms etc, but I am sure I did everything correctly but I still got the message saying "currently Paypal accounts in Jordan are only able to send payments. This recipient is not eligible to receive funds." How can I get my donation to PAF?
