TRYING AGAIN!! (No. 3)
I have so many photos of our Pure Breds and Anglos jumping but as you were thinking of BSJA I chose Drongo (Dhruv ex Difayah) who has BSJA winnings and Kalibis (Phoenix Kalibur ex Ambassadors Princess Serena) who was about to be registered for Pony Affiliated when he was bought by a friend to go hunting and eventing. Bay is Drongo, chestnut is Kalibis

Well done Boultons - your great pics were well worth the wait!

Actually I think all the pictures are fabulous - I think it's proof enough that Arabs make talented and courageous jumpers, but would love to see more

Great pix Boultons. I just love Drongo... But Kabilis is looking fab there too!

Is Drongo the one who has done a lot of fairly elevated dressage too?

Roseanne, no Drongo has not done dressage, mostly because of Brian just wanting to do the stuff that involved either leaping over things or going fast but also because Drongo is VERY IMPATIENT (even now at 23) and could just about keep his cool for a quick show in Working Hunters. He has also won 7 races and in their younger years Drongo and Brian would have preferred it if the racing had been hurdling!

These are brilliant - fabulous!
Who needs to say Arabs are 'different' - you're up there proving yours are just horses who can do it wonderfully.

Well done - have fun!

WOW, some wonderful photos of some incredible horses!!!!
So lovely to see how much all of them look to be enjoying it (and the riders too of course! lol)
Just out of interest, I was told North Staffs still have a showjumping team...does anyone compete on the arab teams in the AHS?

Sian

We did the show jumping with Taragun as part of N Staffs. The team competitions at Malvern are really good fun - so have a go. Contact N Staffs and they'll help. Watch out for Cornwall - they always field a VERY good team

Pintoarabians - thank you for the photos of Ruby Shy. Just love her to bits.

Agree with everyone - don't we have a wonderful breed of horse? And isn't it lovely to see the smiles of the riders?

Goosebumps!

A few more pics of Ruby Shy, especially for you Rachelle. Also Brierie Bey B who had so much talent but was taken from us too soon.

What fantastic photos from everyone!

Makes me sad that i no longer have an arab I can jump. I used to love the look of suprise when I took Miska in the SJ ring...then the look of fear as I came out of it

Roseanne - thanks for putting the pics of Himself up. I love seeing them again. I will try to put some up I was only sent recently of him jumping at the age of 31 at the 'meet' following the hunting ban. We only meant to spectate but.....

I will also try to put some up of my 'new' Anglo 75% arab, mostly Crabbet(not so new now) who loves endurance but also LOVES jumping and we did our first pre novice ODE of 2011 yesterday. Double clear, bless her cotton socks-if we can just get the hang of the dressage.....
