Hi All, Not sure if there has been a recent thread on this but was wondering whether anyone has any pictures or videos to share of their Arabs jumping?
Me and Tao are getting into the swing of it now and he seems to be enjoying himself very much which is great as I would like to BSJA in the future with him so theres hope yet lol! Wanted to share this video of us jumping at home today. As you all know we've been a bit hit and miss on the correct canter lead going clockwise but we will get there! Anyway, He's enjoyed the 1'9 and 2'3 classes we've done locally over winter and am hoping to do more with him this year, building it up nice and slow. Taking him to a local cross country course in April which will be great fun.
Would love to see everyones pics of them jumping be it XC or SJ
Sian x
P.S Dont know how to post videos on here so heres the link: http://www.facebook.com/video/video.php?v=185465768155389&comments

Oh Poo! I don't have 'flash player' so can't see it. I love jumping Arabs. I'm sure you'll have a ball with the XC. My old boy was a fabulous jumper - Pony Club, hunting, ODE, team chasing - get ou there and ENJOY. |

Ps. I've just checked the AL archive and he is still there. Pictures of a jumping arab are on page 3 of the 'Carabineer RIP' thread. |

Tao is looking great! Looks like he is having great fun too!
My dream is to own an arab that I can take BSJA jumping...though it will have to wait as I just bought an ISH as my new competition horse
Here's my nutty (now retired) arab, Miska, jumping...
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5kdWgaxKKJY (forgive my position - it was a long time ago and she wasn't the easiest ride! I cringe at the duck feet! Also for some reason I look huge on her, but I wasn't)
If she'd ever jumped at a sensible speed, she would have jumped alot bigger.
Good luck with Tao - I look forward to hearing all your jumping adventures |
RIP Ettie 2003 - 2010 |

WOW Check out the clearance on that Jump of Rosies as a 4 year old!! Dod you do much jumping with her? She looks fab for 21! Miska - That was his first showjumping class, he was a bit over excited by all the scary fillers but took it all really well bless him! Did you do any XC with her? Bet she'd have been great at that! Josie - Nice to see hes so alert and happy when being ridden then xx |

I have so many photos of our Pure Breds and Anglos jumping but as you were thinking of BSJA I chose Drongo (Dhruv ex Difayah) who has BSJA winnings and Kalibis (Phoenix Kalibur ex Ambassadors Princess Serena) who was about to be registered for Pony Affiliated when he was bought by a friend to go hunting and eventing. http://img706.imageshack.us/i/pa164411.jpg/ " border="0" style='cursor:default' onClick='doimage(this, event)'> http://img88.imageshack.us/i/jump1jpg029xu8.jpg/ " border="0" style='cursor:default' onClick='doimage(this, event)'>

Here's Caribineer. I've been trying to post this all evening, work intervening. Hope it works properly; I'm being a bit of a cr4p pupil of Rui's. Something about not putting in a code??
Kim it's so lovely to see this pic again. I will put the eventing one up as well if I can!
