Nothing but adverts on there at the moment; time difference of course. But it looks a good site for drooling over Arabs!
I recall someone putting a really painful link on AL to show the use of these shoes on standardbreds (or was it Morgans?) and these guys were riding them round a show ring sitting on their loins with these horses going around like distorted monsters. It was just grotesque.
ive enjoyed watching this aswell as being on the chat and talking to them. discussing the differances across the pond....
the ones with the extravagant trots are mostly half arabs with either saddlebreds or morgens who have a high knee actions naturally. also its caused "english" because their tradional way of riding is western (so someone told me :D ). they also have weighted shoes and pads put on to help the extravagant trot.it is nice to see the partbreds looking very araby :D i say, they are only allowed to compete partbreds if either the sire or dam is an full arab as a lady said to me to preserve the arab features :D this is an amazing show to watch :D and love the people on the chat too
