just looking at lidl site and they have horsey stuff on special rugs bandages saddle cloths (i was looking for the price of Swedes!lol) has anyone got anything is it any good?

| they had rugs and bandage sets for 10-15 pound a while back i knew a few peeps got em and were quite impressed but the rugs were only in a size 5ft9 |

| The fleece rugs and bandages were £6.99. They did only come in 5'9", but all my Arabs wear that size anyway. They're ok for throwing on after a bath or under another rug. They also have Summer sheets for £4.99. |

 I got a few fleeces and summer sheets. the sheets are about 6ft 6ins and yes the fleeces are 5ft9, I put one on Nabil under his stable rug tonight as its turned bitter here again and have to say it's a lovely shape, and looks very smart although a bit too much embroidary for my taste. All in all the rate he wrecks them at 6.99 (leg bandages are that on their own) they'll come in handy |

| Yep - I rushed in as soon as they opened because the stuff goes so quickly round here. Got a fleece rug with leg wraps for 6.99 - little bit snug on my non arab 5'9 boy, but fine for chucking on as after bath etc. Leg wraps are nice tho'! Also got some bandages at 1.99 for 4, a lunge rein for 1.99 and some travel boots for 5.99 (I think). Not sure how much I trust the travel boots in terms of fit and level of protection, but figure at that price I can always use them in yard to make sure pony is fully used to and comfy in boots! Oh and got a saddle pad as well for 3.99 - again always useful as a spare. All in all, quite chuffed with all my stuff! |

I got some Jod's from Aldi a few years ago I thinkt hey were about £11.00!! Best jod's I have ever had, such good thick ones and really warm in winter.
Didnt know Lidl did horsey stuff!! I know Tesco do but they seem to have gone quite expensive.

they had the same stuff in october last year and I got the blue rug set and one of my liveries bought some of the saddlecloths, nicely made and they wash up well

They only had 6ft and 6'3" rugs nothing for my 5'9" but didn't realise as worked out sizes wrong.
Michelle I agree with you never have too many rugs. BF thinks I have an obsession with buying rugs.

put a lovely fleece on his Nibs under his stable rug last night, OH took stable rug off today and left him for five mins  came back and he was murdering it on the stable floor I could have told him he would do that....lucky I bought four all together |

Got a couple of fleeces as they had loads at our local (suburban) Lidl tonight - haven't unpacked them yet, but look easy enough to alter...couldn't buy the fabric for £6.99!

em wondering if ive looked at size right as that does seem such a small size im sure when i looked on back of pack measurement said 135cm across the back of rug maybe i read it wrong  |

The rugs are *all* 135cm - measured from the withers. There was a diagram in the Lidl Offers flyer that shows this 
Getting one to send to my friend in the US for *her* Arab!
