Pict was a fluke of course . That tree in the background (Ghost Gum I think) is no different today than it was 60yrs ago-unlike me. It's still smooth and slender -unlike me. You're right about why we love the breed. There is little sign of the long dirty coat; it has been swallowed up by the action. Llamas are very common today.

Tried to take some new pics of Ishara (100% Crabbet) with my new camera but i'm clearly not cut out to be a photographer! She is either right on top of me or miles away. Here is one a friend took after dressage last week.
and a couple of my rubbish attempts in the field
I can manage when she's in her stable
Loving all the pics of everyone's beautiful horses, keep them coming. |

Joanna. Lovely mare. Thought the breeding rang a bell so I looked her up on allbreeds. Her brother Binley Prince Iqbal is here in Australia. Have inquired about him. One for the future . Giving WH Justice another shot this year as R missed to him last year. |

Ooh Toothless I'm sure Rusleema and Iqbal would produce something really special. I've only seen pictures of him on Facebook but he looks very similar to Ishara. |

I think it was Mastarcraftsman I saw not long after he was born at Di's, such a sweetie and he has grown into a very handsome boy! I'm sure he will be stunning stallion, and hope you find a good home for him. I'm loving all of these photos, I must scan the few I have of my PBA boy's sire, Presto, who was 100% OE and high % Crabbet, and belonged to a friend of mine: http://www.allbreedpedigree.com/presto22 He won the ridden at Windsor in the late 80's (I think, could have been early 90's!!) and quite a lot locally (Berkshire) but not a prolific showing or breeding home, he was a much loved and exceptionally kind and sweet natured horse.

It's a pity that stallions such as these don't stand to the public. I don't know how many 100% crabbet stallions are not open to the public. If there are quit a few then the Preservationists could be cutting there own throat. It's their choice and there must be good reasons why they do this ,eg, not having to deal with troublesome outside mares etc. It's no secret why I purchased my mare, imported her,and boarded her with the stallion owner for 2 yrs hoping to leave her there permanently as the stallions mate in order to preserve some of his genetic material. I have my suspicions the stallion owner never had her covered either because her horse was sterile or she doesn't want his lines continuing on in someone else's hands. He is now 20yrs old and has only one part-bred progeny. My mare has since produced after one covering with another horse. How the minds of some people tick is a mystery to me. Which reminds me. Saw a rather vacuous statement on a facebook site yesterday--- IF IT'S NOT PURE CRABBET ,IT'S JUST ANOTHER PRETTY ARABIAN. |

I think the above is a it of a sweeping and closed mind statement!

I clearly suffer from just having another pretty arabian(s) (the others are Russian and Russian-German/Polish. This is PSA Safeerah (Saffee) who is about 60% Crabbet, being by PHA Silvern Risalm and Shahi Bint Balaton (Russian).
Saffee will be 14 months old this week and is already 14h 1, so may end up being a big girl.
And our Hazara Khan (Harkem x Flying Della)who is about 87% Crabbet and the rest Polish,
